Karate Officials Training Course (Advanced)
The following course has been arranged by the SKGB Refereeing Commission in prelude to the Scottish International Open on the 7th and 8th of April 2007 and as part of the Commissions Development program for 2007/08.
To this end an invitation is extended to Karate Officials who currently hold a qualification as a Kumite Referee or Kata Judge at national level
Dates:
The course will be held on Saturday 31st March 2007. 0930hrs to 1330hrs
Venue:
The venue for the course is within the
Dakota Hotel Euro Central
Shawfoot Road
off the M8 Motorway

Lanarkshire

Examination:
There will be no written exam as part of this course however if officials wish to sit an exam they are welcome to do so at the same time as the Intermediate course which will be run concurrent with this course.
Officials should attend in full WKF uniform and have with them their SKGB “Karate Officials Record Books”.
Refreshment:
Lunch will be provided within the hotel and in order that catering numbers as well as any special dietary requirement can be confirmed, official’s attendance at this course must be confirmed with the SKGB Refereeing Secretary prior to Monday 26th March 2007.

SKGB Refereeing Commission
Karate Officials Training Course (Kata)
The following course has been arranged by the SKGB Refereeing Commission as part of the Commissions Development program for 2007/08.To this end an invitation is extended to Karate Officials who currently hold a qualification as an Association Kata Judge or Kata Judge at national level to attend a development/practical assessment.
Dates:The course will be held on Saturday 23rd February 2008. 1000hrs until 1600hrs
Venue:The venue for the course is within the Holiday Inn Glasgow Airport
Examination:Practical assessment along with official’s development will be assessed by Terry Pottage 7th Dan WKF Official. There will be a written exam as part of this course available to those officials who require the exam to further their refereeing qualification.
Officials should attend in full WKF uniform and have with them their SKGB “Karate Officials Record Books”. Officials will also require to bring a Karate Gi to take part in the practical aspect of the training.Refreshment:
