The GNKA was founded in 1985 and offers coaching & training in traditional Shotokan Karate at various clubs throughout Aberdeenshire and the North of Scotland.

The GNKA is a member of the SKGB and operates on a Not-for-Profit basis.

The Association coaches are members of Shotokan Ryu Kase Ha coaches Academy and follow the linage of its founder Taiji Kase.
